The Federation for Advanced Manufacturing Education (FAME)* provides global-best workforce development through strong technical training, integration of manufacturing core competencies, intensive professional practices and hands-on experience to build the future of the modern manufacturing industry.
The program’s key learnings focus on developing global-best workers with the technical and professional skills to excel in today’s manufacturing workforce.
With chapters in more than a dozen states and nearly 400 partner companies, FAME is a highly integrated, and proven, career pathway program that provides education, training and certifications for the Advanced Manufacturing Technician (AMT) occupational track.
*FAME was founded by Toyota in 2010 and is currently supported by The Manufacturing Institute.
The FAME National Conference is an engaging three days of information sharing, network building and deep discussion amongst FAME peers from across the country. This event allows FAME network members to workshop important topics with fellow FAME chapters and learn more about how chapters are adapting to changes in the workforce and economy.
